have this happened to anyone? couple years ago my commodore was acting really weird... The Joystick port, video chip or something similar was damaged...
like when I played karate kid or other game, the guy scrolled always to right even I didin't press ANYTHING.
Well I found out if I kept pressing G(?) the "BUG" was removed. So I just put a piece of tape on that button and games worked perfectly.
When I removed the tape from the button and watched the Jumpman's intro (Guy drops the letters and forms the word jumpman) there was that bug again. The guy just kept running on the right and falled down from platform! in intro! is this suppose to happed randomly or is it at my C64? I tried to control that guy (with G pressed) with joystick at both ports and I couldn't
control the guy. I don't have that C64 anymore so I cannot try doing it again...

but I just wanna know what kind of damage (virus?)could do this thing????!!!!
