Calibration problem, flicking cursor

Hi,

I've tried to calibrate the joystick. I can do it to a certain degree, but the cursor inside the calibration square flicks about at an alarming rate, often causing the pad to act of its own accord, even if I fine tune it.

Is there any way to stop this random flicking of the cursor?
