I'm not sure if you're doing anything wrong. If the screen appears to freeze, then perhaps you just need to wait (perhaps the game is being de-packed in memory). Typing RUN at the READY prompt is definately the right thing to do.

Stuart Toomer.

: I have a game in tape format with two "sides" ("Gauntlet 2 (1986)(Tengen)(Side A)[a].tap" and "Gauntlet 2 (1986)(Tengen)(Side B)[a].tap") called GAUNTLET II. I can't play this game on emulator CCS64 v2.0. When I'm select "Gauntlet 2 (1986)(Tengen)(Side A)[a].tap" at the "tape drive" and press F1, this few words appears on the screen:

: --------------------------------------
: **** COMMODORE 64 BASIC V2 ****

: 64 RAM SYSTEM 38911 BASIC BYTES FREE

: READY.
: LOAD"",1

: PRESS PLAY ON TAPE
: OK

: SEARCHING
: FOUND GAUNTLET II
: LOADING
: READY.
: --------------------------------------

: I tried to type "RUN", but nothing happened.

: WHAT I DOING?
: Thanks friend!! =]]
