Ctrl-key with Flight Simulator II

Hello friends,

I am the webmaster of the Flight Simulator History website (http://www.simflight.com/~fshistory). As such you can imagine I am interested in pictures of any ans all working old FS versions, including the one that was released for the Commodore 64 in 1984. For that purpose I prefer to use emulators on my PC in order to be able to make screenshots. I do have an image of FS II for the C64 as well as copies of several versions of the CCS64 emulator.

Even version 1.09 of CCS64 already works fine with FS II for the C64, except for one nasty problem. FS II uses the Control key for several functions and this does not seem to work under CSS64. The right Ctrl key does not have any influence on the other key. E.g.: Ctrl-M does exactly the same as the M-key alone, which is an entirely different function within FS! And the right Ctrl-key does not seem to work at all. There is no reaction whatsoever to the combination of this key with any other key. At least not within FS II.

So there are quite a few essential functions with respect to aircraft control that I can't use under CSS64. I hoped this would be solved in version 2.0B, but unfortunately it still does not work.

Is there anybody who can help me out on this matter? Maybe even with a another emulator? Or can I just forget about this?

If you post a reply to my message in this messageboard, please send a copy of the reply directly to my home e-mail address: joscmg@xs4all.nl

Many thanks in advance, Jos G.
