: I'm only guessing here, but I'd assume that the standard Windows drivers would probably be enough to support all the older-style joysticks. As for the USB joysticks, though, I have no idea! So I'm wondering: Is your joystick a USB joystick or one of the older "game-port" joysticks? If it's the latter, you should just be able to set it up in the Control Panel, using the joystick icon that could, depending on your Windows version, be called either "Game Devices", "Gaming Options" or just "Joysticks".

: If it's a USB joystick, though, then I don't know. I don't know if you need special drivers to use those or not. It's probably still worth trying that Control Panel icon, though, to see if you can still get it set up in there.
