: I am having the same exact problem, and all I get from the gurus is "Go read the manual." Well I have had it! I have read the bloody manual, and you know what? IT DOESN'T WORK. If you find out what to do, please pass it on to the helpless.

: thanks

: : I am using the CCS64, version 2.0, and whenever I'm playing a game that tells me to insert disk 2 or flip the disk over, the game goes nowhere when I load the second part.

: : I tried opening the directory to the second disk and tried hitting the "select disk" option and also tried hitting escape or the left arrow key when that directory pops up, but nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? If there is anything else that would help, I would appreciate it.

The "select disk" option should do it... However, C64 programs don't automatically detect when a new disk has been inserted; they expect the user to press the space bar afterwards.

Some programs even forget to remove the "turn disk over" prompt from the screen while reading from the second side of the disk. This could cause a lot of unnecessary confusion to those who don't have the disk drive light where they can see it. CCS64 2.0 does have an option that'll display the disk drive light on the screen so you can tell whether something's actually being loaded or not.

...After you turn the disk over and hit Space, that is.

Hope this helps.
